Share Some Luv! (CommentLuv, that is)

I have just installed the CommentLuv and Lucia’s Linky Love plugins to my blog.

CommentLuv is a great plugin that rewards my commenters by parsing their last (or selected) blog post to the bottom of their comment.  Excellent!

Linky Love rewards the commenter with a share of page rank after three approved blog comments by converting the comment links to “dofollow”.  Fantastic!

There are loads of options with each plugin to suit your needs.

A quick tip if you are using Feedburner and commenting on blogs with Commentluv installed, go to your Feedburner settings, under the Feedburner Stats Pro option, uncheck the Item link clicks box, this will limit your ability to see how many clicks your feed generated but this will direct the parsed rss comment to be linked directly to your blog instead of via Feedburner, thus giving you the link luv instead of Feedburner getting it.

Now get commenting…

To kick things off, how about answering this question, what one wordpress plugin do you love the most and why?

I would like as many people as possible to comment as I have some great ideas for the answers I receive…

…Think re-brandable ebook, and each commenter will get a copy!

Until next time…

You've been here before, I like you. Enjoyed this post? Bookmark it using the link above. If you make some comments, I share the link luv. You can even add your Twitter username to your comments, try it out! Thanks for visiting again!

The Blog Traffic Hijack Method

Everyone wants more traffic to their blog and this has to be the easiest method for generating blog visitors.

Below is the step by step method to legally hijack other peoples blog traffic.

1) Find ten to twenty high traffic blogs in your niche

2) Comment on posts

That’s it, easy or what?

To find the blogs, simply do a search in Google for “blog” + “your niche”, find blogs that are posted to regularly and have some comments on each blog post.  You can use Alexa.com to give you a rough idea of the traffic that the blog receives, the lower the Alexa rank, the higher traffic that blog receives.

Once you have found your blogs, monitor them and as soon as a post is made, make a comment on that post, make sure you add value to the blog post – always be thinking “what is in this for other blog readers”, perhaps you could give an additional tip, disagree with the blog post and back up you claims, give an insight into your business, etc.

Don’t forget to leave your blog url in the website link box when you make a comment.

Provided you have added value to the blog post, other blog readers will click on your name and come visit your blog.

Follow this simple 2 step plan on a regular basis and you will start to see an increase in your own blog traffic and comments.

Now get it going…

Until next time…

5 Keys to Your Success

People often ask, “At what point do I quit if it’s not working?”

If you follow a business plan that’s already been *proven* to work, then the answer is…

Never!

Failure is NOT an option…

Here are the *5* Keys to Your Success…

Key #1: Put skepticism aside – if you join a club or buy a product thinking, “It probably won’t work, but I’ll give it a try…”, then you’re already doomed to fail.

Key #2: Give 100% effort – don’t think about a “backup plan if this doesn’t work”. You need to commit yourself to *making* it work – there is no other option if you want success.

Key #3: Follow the plan to the ‘t’ – don’t try to take short cuts…do *exactly* what has been *proven* to work and you will succeed!

Key #4: Finish what you start – don’t even think about another project until you’re successful at what you’re doing right now.

Key #5 Believe in what you’re doing! This could be the most important key of all and it runs full circle to Key #1 – don’t ever allow skepticism to hold you back from achieving your dreams.

If you follow the plan, believe in yourself, and give 100% effort, you will succeed…I guarantee it…:o)

And if you need some motivation, listen to this success story and then start your new life today.

I hope this article has given you some insight into what it really takes to succeed.

New Year Resolutions

New year resolutions, what are they all about?

It’s a time for looking back on the past year and, more importantly, looking forward to the year ahead. It is a time to reflect on the changes that each of us wants to, or needs to make and resolve to follow through on those changes in the coming year.

Depending on what your resolutions are will depend on the steps needed to achieve those goals, there is a magic word in that sentance – “steps“.

Break your goals down into manageable chunks that will enable you to monitor your own progress on a regular basis. If your goal is to make $10,000 this year, what are the steps you will need to achieve it? Let’s say that this is your goal, you market blue widgets for the blue widget company and make $50 on each blue widget that you sell.

To make $10k will require you to sell 200 blue widgets. Break it down in to monthly or weekly sales – roughly 17 a month, or 4 a week. If you know that for every 100 people that stumble across your blue widgets, you make 2 sales, you require about 29 people a day.

Break goals down in to manageable and measurable steps, you will achieve them.

If you want to make a change, set a goal or make a resolution, you can do it at any time you like, be it a new year or not. When you want to make a change, make that commitment to yourself and act on it.

Have a great new year!
