A Slap Across The Face From Alex Jeffreys
Shit, that hurt…
…and all I want to do is thank him for it.
Funny that, but it really was the wake up call I needed and you can read all about your wake up call in The Guru’s Dream. Alex Jeffreys may even smack you around the head a bit!
I read The Guru’s Dream this morning, took a bit of a break, re-read it at lunch time whilst making pages and pages of notes and after finishing this blog post I am going to go back and read it again.

I thought about deleting all of my previous blog entries and starting afresh but then had a better idea, I will leave those posts up to show everyone how not to blog and to remind myself that from this day forward things are going to change.
I have some killer ideas for future blog posts so check back here often.
Thank you Alex!
Now it’s time to take action, hit that publish button and get this oil rig back out in the north sea catching some fish.

Very well put Martin.
I moved the video to youtube instead as they are good with that stuff
So I have a working video about extracting zip archives using WinRar and some nice music to boot
Your blog looks really nice… I think I need to have a make over on my blog later on. Very nice job!
all the best

@Gary, thanks, life would be so boring if it wasn’t for laughter, i’m happy it gave you a chuckle.
@Carl, cheers for the kind words mate, yup, the video on your blog is working fine now, just been and watched it. Keep up the great work.
Maybe I’ll re-read ‘The Guru’s Dream’?
A quality work always contains hidden nuggets.
Great post Martin.
Go well,
Stephen
